ABOUT

Jessica Snell-Johns, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist. She earned her doctorate in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of South Carolina and completed her internship at the Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers in Dallas, Texas.  Dr. Johns’ training focused on collaborative and strength-based approaches to working with children, adolescents, couples, and families, as well as individual adult psychotherapy. Her special interests include family therapy, marital/relationship issues, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, eastern philosophy, the use of humor in healing, and reflection teams. Dr. Johns’ areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, stress management, family issues, and parenting skills. 

SERVICES

Dr. Johns has provided individual, couples, and family therapy for over 18 years in the Annapolis area. In addition to clinical services, Dr. Johns works as a program and evaluation consultant and volunteer, helping strengthen community efforts to promote wellness and prevent substance abuse and mental health problems.

Free parking is available along Giddings Avenue as well as covered garage parking. Dr. Johns is part of Suite 33, a group of independent practitioners who share a lobby and support one another.

The office is conveniently located near Route 50, Interstate 97 and downtown Annapolis.
